Face Atelier Ultra Foundation has been compared to Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. That alone is an excellent sign!! This smooth, silicone based liquid foundation is the absolute business. If you don't know what that means, the let me tell you, it's awesome!!! It has a built in primer (so that's two steps in one bottle). It applies very smoothly and leaves a semi-matte semi-luminous finish. The pigment concentration is crazy fabulous! Even though the product seems a little thin at first, it has buildable coverage. I didn't conceal my blemishes before applying this product (WHOA NELLY, I ALWAYS CONCEAL). It feels super light weight and non-greasy. It almost feels like I have no foundation on.

$45.00 1 oz/30 ml

                                                                     $32.00    .68 oz/20 ml

The same formula comes in two sizes (as featured above) but they also sale samples at $1.00 a piece (this is what i purchased). There are 16 colors (four of which are color adjusters to make your existing colors lighter or darker or add a little bit of warmth) [Zero +, Zero -, Zero ++, and Heat.]
SIDENOTE: Have existing liquid foundation that doesn't match just right? Pick up the color adjusters and custom blend your own shade

They have also extended the original colors to add the new Women Of Color Shades (#10 Cocoa, #11 Sable, #12 Mink). The new colors are swatched above thanks to google images. There is no going wrong with finding your perfect shade. You can custom blend!!!!!! (YES, I SAID IT AGAIN BECAUSE IT ROCKS)!

If you are skeptical about purchasing this product, go to their site and pic up some samples. I purchased all of them. I also purchased samples of their lip glazes (Prim Rose Lipglaze featured in the pictures below) and their loose powder (range isn't very diverse and i haven't tried them out yet).

I will definitely be purchasing the pro sizes for my kit. The must have colors are definitely the 4 adjuster shades, #1 and #2, #8,#10, #11 and #12.  Trust me, you won't be disappointed with the results. Great for everyday and great for Pro Work! I've added a couple of pictures with me wearing it this morning. THIS IS ONLY LIGHT BEAT WORK (translation: I did very quick makeup to test the foundation and this is what i usually look like going to work). I set it with my MSFN (translation: Mineralized Skin Finish Natural by M.A.C) and concealed ONLY under my eye with a Black Opal Concealer. I have no blush on. I warmed up my tone with NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer (Excellent Bronzer for a Natural Glow and very inexpensive)

I mixed shades #8 Caramel and #9 Toffee
