Église Saint Pierre de Montmartre
Built on the site of a Roman temple and a 7th century Merovingian church,
Saint Pierre de Montmartre was consecrated in 1147
and is one of the oldest churches in Paris.
Although it sits in the shadow of the grand Sacre Coeur,
it has some fascinating features and architecture.
As the sun falls on the stained glass windows,
a kaleidoscope of color splashes on the old stone floors.
bon dimanche
