Scouts and Guides de France
On a Sunday afternoon a large group of Scouts
performed in the square of Église Saint Sulpice
and then walked to Jardin du Luxembourg.
The poem "Le Bateau Ivre"
written by a young Arthur Rimbaud in 1871
has been written on the long stone wall in the narrow street.
This lone Scout paused ever so briefly to take notice.
